My parents would read to my brother and me every evening. I remember envisioning amazing places and brilliant adventures. My emotions would fly and dive on the turn of a phrase. I want to take those beautiful books so lovingly crafted by wonderful writers off the dusty library shelves and bring them alive for our children today. It seems such a simple goal but it appears to be a forgotten, over-looked vital gift; the gift of imagination. Let's teach our children how to think, not what to think. Let's create caring, compassionate, connected children through our communications leadership.
